For Today - February 20, 2009 - Friday

Outside My Window...the sky is getting light. And I think it's cold, too.

I am thinking...I need to go to bed earlier while in Houston.

I am wondering....if the load of clothes I'm washing is ready for the drier.

I am thankful for....my camera. It really is a good friend to me & I've finally found the perfect purse that's big enough for DSLR, two lenses & my Franklin Planner. It's a heavy purse . . . but it works! It's beautiful tooled leather. . . I'll have to snap a pic of it & post sometime.

From the kitchen...coffee & instant oatmeal.

I am going...to put that load of clothes into the drier. Be right back.

I am wearing...oh, this is a doozy: black fleece pants, lime green t-shirt, brown zippered sweat shirt, beige sox & black house slippers. Now you know why I threw a load of clothes into the washer early this morning.

I am reading..."Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" http://thepioneerwoman.com/category/black_heelstractor_wheels/the_night_i_met_marlboro_man
That's why my eyes are out of focus in the above picture! I stayed up 'til midnight reading this story . . . . am now on chapter XXXVIII. I'm tempted to go back to the website & read "just one more chapter", but know deep, deep down I'll read more & it will throw me off schedule for today.

I am hoping...mom likes her new haircut. It is so, so, so very cute! She's a very stylin' 87 year old!

I am hearing...drier drying!

Around the house….Sandy curled up on the couch.

One of my favorite things...seeing mama smile.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week....get table & chairs; maybe attend Chili Cookoff @ brother's work; head back home. . . .

Something you may not know about me...I wnt walking again yesterday evening.!

  1. Are you still in Houston? I like that self portrait - your nose is really in focus! Good thing you have a nice nose.... :)

Post a picture of your new purse - sounds like you won't have to work out with weights.... :)

    LOVE YOU!!!!!

  2. Haha - yes, my nose is perfectly in focus! I was recently asked to snap a picture just as I was at that moment...no primping allowed. Since I was on my way to a nap, I was too lazy to change the camera lens . . . and a perfectly focused nose was the result!
